Loving God with Everything, Loving People without Exception
We get our mission from the great commandments to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself." We seek to take these commands to heart.
Christ's words are so clear and so simple. Yet, we often make it difficult. We realize the need to be part of a community supporting one another, as we strive to live out these words in our church, our homes, our community, and our world.
Small Town Church with a Kingdom Impact
Our vision is to be a church transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to transform the world around us. The gospel will guide all we think, say, and do, as we follow Jesus together and grow in community. We will intentionally invest in the lives of children and youth, equipping them to follow Jesus each day. We are messengers of the good news. We desire to build relationships through serving others through simple, ordinary acts of love. We desire to have a consistent presence and influence within our community. Our wholehearted commitment to the gospel will radiate our community to the ends of the earth.
Alton Reformed Church is part of the Kingdom Network of churches. As churches within the Kingdom Network, we commit ourselves to follow Jesus together in building a global movement of regional networks compelled by a Kingdom vision, rooted in Scripture and a Reformed heritage, to passionately reach the lost, multiply disciples and churches and to empower the next generation to lead courageously into the future.

We rejoice in the opportunity to worship each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. We celebrate together with music, teaching, and prayer.
Our desire is to praise God whole-heartedly, whether it is to the beat of a drum or the sound of an organ. We lift our voices to sing the historic hymns of the church and the fresh songs of today. We use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.
We believe practical, relevant, Biblical teaching is an essential part of worship and a catalyst for transformation in individual lives. Scripture is inspired by God, completely accurate, and our authoritative guide for life.
