Scott has been the Senior Pastor at Alton Reformed Church since March 2012. Scott and his wife, Krista, have four children - Karynna, Josiah, Micah, and Annika.
In his free time, Scott enjoys attending the local high school events, hitting the racquetball court, reading different kinds of fiction and non-fiction books and watching a good movie. He is a passionate supporter of all Duke University sports. He also appreciates an ice cold Dr. Pepper.
Pastor Scott's Life Verse is Romans 5:8. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

FAMILIES MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Chris has been serving at Alton Reformed Church since July 2013. Chris and his wife, Sarah, have two children - Jaelynn and Spencer.
Chris loves helping children and youth explore God's purpose for their lives. When not at ARC, you might find Chris fishing, golfing, or camping with family and friends. He's also known to be a big fan of ice cream!
Chris' Life Verse is Psalm 139:1. O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.
CARA VISSER
WORSHIP LEADER
Cara has been serving at Alton Reformed Church since March 2025. Cara and her husband, Asa, have two girls - Willamina and Evangeline.
Cara loves music and the way God created sound to impact us in a holistic way - body, mind and spirit! Outside of church, she loves baking with her girls, canning from the garden, shopping for antiques, and restoring old properties. Cara can't turn down good coffee!
One of Cara's favorite verses is Colossians 3:16 that reads: "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."

Elaine Vander Broek joins Alton Reformed Church as the new Communication Specialist after retiring as a teacher of more than 30 years at the MOC-Floyd Valley Community School District.
We are blessed to have Elaine and Tucker with us!
